# Use case

The integration by purchase link should be used when the Pledg solution cannot be integrated at all in the merchant payment page.

The merchant should use the dashboard or the API to generate a purchase link which is sent to the customer by email or by SMS.

The customer then clicks on the purchase link and is redirected to the Pledg payment funnel.

Technically, it can be assimilated to an integration by redirection with the following differences:

The link is not generated from the merchant payment page but from the dashboard or by API
The customer is not redirected to the Pledg payment funnel from the merchant payment page, but from an email or an SMS sent by Pledg
